We’re excited to partner with EH9 and Omwani Coffee to bring you a table of African coffees! The coffees will show the full spectrum of quality from low to high speciality in order to open up your palate to what’s possible from these origins. You’ll have an opportunity to cup using the SCA Descriptive Form, then discuss what you’re tasting with a small group of your peers. It’s a great way to calibrate on flavour and quality. Then we’ll do a triangulation exercise to test your sensory skills - this is the best way to understand where you need to grow and to build confidence in your palate.

The cupping will follow SCA protocol, but no previous cupping experience is necessary. We welcome all skill and experience levels. We believe having diversity of experience around the table helps generate learning oportunities for us all.

Limited tickets available. We keep numbers low to create a calm, focused environment so that you can tune into your senses.
