Come taste coffee with two arabica Q graders and improve your cupping skills!

The proliferation of Ethiopian landrace varieties being grown in Colombia and beyond is one of the most interesting trends in coffee. Taste a set of Colombian coffees—including Pink Bourbon, Chiroso, Gesha and Aji—that are genetically Ethiopian landrace varieties. This is a great opportunity to think through how variety and terroir influence flavour in the cup.

We'll warm up our olfactory bulbs with a Le Nez aroma kit. Then we'll cup coffees using the SCA Descriptive Form and discuss what we taste. Finally, we'll test our skills with a triangulation exercise.

It’s a great way to build your cupping skills, expand your palate and get more familiar with these delicious varieties.

Limited tickets available.
